He is a Senior lecturer at Kabale University, Faculty of economics and management science, specialized in strategic, marketing, operations, and  General Management, He is also a lecturer of Business law. His skills provide an interplay between the management of corporate systems and associated legal implications. Agaba Moses will also provide the legal skills and expertise needed to review ethics and laws research papers to be published in this journal.

    Dr. Ishmael Norman is the President and CEO of the Institute for Security, Disaster, and Emg Stds, which specializes in Criminology and Disaster Risk Mgt in their broadest sense at the BSc and MSc degree levels. He holds a Ph. D: P/H, Univ of Ghana, and J.D., Franklin Pierce Law Center, NH, USA. BA, School for Intern’l Training, Brattleboro, VT, USA. He is also affiliated with the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College. He is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Public Health, the Univ of Health & Allied Sc, Volt Reg, Ghana.  

    The editors of Special Journal of Law, Ethics, and Religion [SJ-LER] are responsible for:

    1. the fast and transparent peer review process
    2. Providing the final judgment on the articles
    3. The editor should remember the policy of fast and effective peer review and further  process,
    4. responsible for any query regarding reconsideration of
    5. selecting potential reviewers
    6. responsibility to contact selected reviewers
    7. convey the expectations of the journal to the reviewers
    8. The editor should keep in mind the time required for reviewing articles
    9. If any special issue proposal is submitted to
    10. Allow for the timely topics and suggest potential guest Editors
    11. Editors should ensure the smooth functioning of the whole process
    12. Editors should provide time to time input regarding the targeted readers’ Editors should comply with the guidelines and protocols provided by the publishing house.

    Editorial duties toward authors include:

    1. Providing guidelines to authors for preparing and submitting manuscripts
    2. Providing a clear statement of the Journal’s policies on authorship criteria
    3. Treating all authors with fairness, courtesy, objectivity, honesty, and transparency
    4. Establishing and defining policies on conflicts of interest
    5. Protecting the confidentiality of every author’s work
    6. Establishing a system for effective and rapid peer review
    7. Making editorial decisions with reasonable speed
    8. Being vigilant in avoiding delaying a manuscript
    9. Establishing guidelines for authors
    10. Establishing a procedure for reconsidering editorial decisions
    11. reviewing policies for handling ethical
    12. Ensure timely publication of accepted manuscripts

    The following are expected from all authors

    • State all sources of funding for research
    • approved by the relevant institutional review boards or ethics committees
    • Cultured cell lines were authenticated.
    • Those regulations concerning the use of animals in research,
    • List contributors who meet the journal’s criteria for authorship
    • Reveal any potential conflicts.
    • Share data or materials needed by other scientists to replicate the experiment.
    • Cite and reference other relevant published work on which the submitted work is based.
    • Obtain permission from the copyright owner to use/reproduce copyrighted content
    • Provide written permission from any potentially identifiable individuals referred to

    Additional expectations from authors

    • Provide registration information for clinical trials
    • Provide the CONSORT statement, for randomized trials.
    • Provide the STARD flow diagram and checklist for diagnostic tests.
    • Provide MOOSE guidelines for meta-analyses/observational studies.
    • Provide STROBE checklists for cross-sectional observational studies.
    • Provide QUOROM guidelines for reporting meta-analyses and systematic reviews
    • Provide MIAME standards for microarray experiments.
    • Provide discipline-specific standards for data sharing/archiving.

    Editorial responsibilities toward Reviewers

    • Assign papers for review to experts
    • Establishing a process for reviewers to ensure the manuscript is a confidential
    • Reviewers not allowed to use the manuscript content before it is published
    • Providing them clear instructions on the scope, content, quality, and timeliness
    • Requesting that reviewers identify any potential conflicts of interest
    • Allowing reviewers appropriate time to complete their reviews
    • Requesting frequency that does not overtax any one reviewer
    • Finding ways to recognize the contributions of reviewers,
